Sherry Edwards

Sherry Edwards has a strong background in the healthcare industry, with a focus on clinical operations and primary care. Sherry is currently serving as the VP of Clinical Operations at PeopleOne Health since April 2022. Previously, they worked as the Director of Primary Care Operations at Wilson Health from December 2020 to April 2022. In this role, Sherry focused on building a cohesive team and streamlining best practices across 12 offices. Before that, they were the Ambulatory Manager at Dayton Children's Hospital from October 2017 to October 2020. Sherry's work experience also includes various roles at Miami Valley Hospital from August 2010 to October 2016. Sherry served as the Trauma Outreach Coordinator, Clinical Nurse Manager, and ED Staff Nurse during their time there. In these positions, they built and maintained relationships with outside hospitals and the community, provided trauma education, coordinated events and courses, managed staffing and operations, and collaborated with healthcare professionals to ensure positive clinical outcomes.

Sherry Edwards has a diverse education history. Sherry obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on Organizational Leadership, from Urbana University between 1999 and 2001. Later, they pursued an Associate of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Keiser University-Ft Lauderdale from 2003 to 2005. Continuing their education, Sherry attained an MSN/MBA degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Phoenix from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, they hold various certifications including ACLS, BLS, and PALS Certified, as well as being an ATLS Course Coordinator and TNCC Course Director.
