Summer Tissue

Summer Tissue has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Summer started their career as the Founder of Military Connections, a non-profit organization that ships care packages to deployed troops. Summer formed this organization in 2005 when their brother joined the Marine Corps and needed supplies in Iraq.

In 2009, Summer joined The Oakmont Chamber of Commerce as the Executive Director. Summer held this position for eight years before transitioning to a role in marketing consulting. At Summer Tissue Consulting, they focused on managing social media presence for businesses, allowing them to focus on face-to-face interactions with clients.

In 2018, Summer joined PeopleOne Health as an Accounting Manager. In this role, they managed a team responsible for financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation. Summer also coordinated training programs for new staff and identified training needs for current staff. Summer established internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.

Throughout their career, Summer Tissue has shown dedication and expertise in various areas, including non-profit management, marketing consulting, and accounting.

Summer Tissue received their High School Diploma in General Studies from Plum Borough Senior High School, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Summer then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from PennWest Edinboro, completing their studies between 2000 and 2004.
