Cheryl Brown

Cheryl Brown has considerable work experience in the field of internal auditing. Cheryl currently holds the position of SVP/Internal Auditor at Peoples Bank Texas, which they began in 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as the VP/Internal Auditor at Happy State Bank from 2020 until 2022. Cheryl also served as the SVP / Internal Auditor at Centennial BANK from 2018 to 2020 and as the SVP / Internal Audit Manager at FirstBank & Trust from 2012 to 2018. Earlier in their career, they served as the Internal Audit Manager at American State Bank (ASB) from 2000 to 2012. Before entering the banking industry, Cheryl worked as a Division Controller at Coca-Cola Bottling of the Southwest / Coca-Cola Enterprises from 1988 to 2000. Cheryl'searlier experience includes roles as an Auditor at Pratas Smith & Moore and an Internal Auditor at GTE Southwest.

Cheryl Brown attended Angelo State University from 1975 to 1979, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a major in Accounting. It is not known if they obtained any additional certifications, such as the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation, from TSBPA.
