Maria Ortiz-Torres

Maria Ortiz-Torres has extensive experience in operations management, currently serving as Operations Supervisor at Peoples Gas since April 2001. In this role, Maria leads the group responsible for securing permits for all operations and maintenance work, while also maintaining essential relationships with key Chicago agencies, including CDOT and DWM. Prior to this position, Maria worked as a receptionist at Solo Cup and as an apprentice artist at Gallery 37. Currently, Maria is pursuing a degree in Business Administration and Management at City Colleges of Chicago-Harold Washington College.
