Sampath Jayasundara

Sampath Jayasundara has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Sampath began their career as a Developer at Mahaweli Infotech (Pvt) Ltd in 1998. Sampath then worked as a Business Systems Executive at Zillione Systems Solutions (P) Ltd. In 2000, they joined hSenid Software International and progressed from a Project Lead to Operations Manager. Sampath later became Director/General Manager at hSenid Business Solutions (Pvt) Ltd, where they served in various roles including General Manager – Business Development & Support. In 2004, they became a Director at Pioneer Institute of Business & Technology, where they were responsible for offering UK internal degree programmes in Sri Lanka. In 2013, they became Chief Executive Officer at PeoplesHR, and then moved on to become Chief Executive Officer at hSenid Business Solutions in 2014. Most recently, in 2021, they became a Director at SLASSCOM (Sri Lanka Association for Software and Services Companies).

Sampath Jayasundara completed a BSc in Physical Science from the University of Colombo from 1996 to 1999. Sampath then pursued a PG Diploma in Computer Science from the University of Colombo from 2002 to 2003. Later, they obtained an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura from 2006 to 2009. Additionally, they have a certification in People Analytics: Transforming HR Strategy with Data Science from the University of Cambridge, which was obtained in 2023. Sampath Jayasundara also attended Royal College, Colombo from 1985 to 1993, though specific degrees or fields of study were not provided for this period.
