Elizabeth Hayes has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Elizabeth started their career at Dynamic Concepts, Inc. as a Graduate Intern in 2003. In 2004, they joined SAIC as an Aerospace Engineer III, and over the years, they took on various roles such as Science & Technology Division's Flight Models Section Manager and S&T Division's Flight Models Department Manager. Elizabeth played a key role in providing software architecture design, development, and testing, particularly for the Defense Intelligence Agency-sponsored Umpire program. In 2013, they moved on to Algae Systems, LLC as an Assistant Plant Manager/Operations Engineer, assisting the Plant Manager in defining operations schedules and ensuring site-wide safety awareness. Elizabeth returned to SAIC in 2015, this time as an Aerospace Engineer IV, where they led desktop software development and support efforts for the Pioneer program. Currently, Elizabeth works at PeopleTec as an Advanced Systems Engineer/Senior Engineering Lead.
Elizabeth Hayes earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Auburn University from 1998 to 2002. Elizabeth then pursued a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering with a focus on Astrodynamics from Auburn University from 2002 to 2004.
