Valerie Davenport is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project scheduling and education. Currently serving as a Senior Project Scheduler at PeopleTec since August 2019, Valerie has previously held the role of Scheduler at APT Research, where responsibilities included maintaining integrated master schedules and collaborating across departments to optimize project workflows. With a background as a diamond-level trainer at Abydos Literacy, Valerie has expertise in improving writing instruction for educators in Texas. Additionally, as a high school English teacher in Highland Park ISD, Valerie focused on Advanced Placement and talented programs while also contributing to curriculum development and professional development consulting. Valerie holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration and Supervision from Lamar University and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Engineering/Industrial Management at Auburn University, alongside ongoing education at Defense Acquisition University.
