Douglas Menke is an experienced AV Engineer currently working with Peoria County Government since June 2021. Prior to this role, Douglas served as the Instructional Technology Systems Manager at Western Illinois University for nearly three decades, where responsibilities included the design and maintenance of electronic classroom systems and various teaching spaces. Douglas also held the position of Compressed Network Manager at the Center for the Application of Information Technology, focusing on videoconferencing systems and evaluating emerging technologies for educational use. Earlier in their career, Douglas was a Cannon Crewman and Driver Trainer in the US Army National Guard, specializing in artillery operations and tactical training. Douglas holds a Master's of Fine Arts in Theatre/Theater and a Bachelor of Science in Radio and Television Broadcasting Technology from Western Illinois University, alongside a high school diploma from Marquette Catholic High School.
