Emily Cahill

Emily Cahill is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within non-profit and public organizations. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Parks and Recreation at Peoria Park District since December 2011, Emily previously held the position of Assistant Executive Director since August 2014. Emily has contributed significantly to the American Red Cross Heart of America Region, serving as a Board Member and in various leadership capacities from June 2008 to September 2015, where innovative strategic planning and restructuring efforts were implemented. Additionally, Emily actively participated in the Junior League, both as a volunteer and staff member, playing a crucial role in the Peoria PlayHouse Children’s Museum project. Previous legal expertise includes positions as Associate Attorney at Pratt Law Offices and Certified Legal Intern at the Indiana University Child Advocacy Clinic. Emily holds a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Indiana University School of Law and a BA in Chemistry from Hanover College.
