Nicole Couri-Malson

Nicole Couri-Malson, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning different roles in the education sector. Nicole most recently served as the Executive Director of Primary Education at Peoria Public Schools, where they supervised and directed the work of all primary principals and focused on student achievement. Prior to that, they were the Executive Director at Quest Charter Academy and the Executive Director of Instruction at Agora Cyber Charter School. Nicole also worked as an Independent Education Consultant, partnering with Wake Forest University to develop curriculum for Chinese high school seniors preparing for American colleges and universities. Additionally, they held various leadership positions at Catapult Learning and EdisonLearning, including Executive Director of Leadership. Nicole Couri-Malson also has experience as an Adjunct Professor at Bradley University and as a Kindergarten Teacher at Peoria Public School District.

Nicole Couri-Malson, Ph.D., earned their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Educational Administration and Foundations from Illinois State University from 2002 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science degree in Educational Administration from Eastern Illinois University from 2000 to 2002. Nicole began their educational journey at Eastern Illinois University, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from 1994 to 1998.
