Kc Somers

KC Somers is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Superintendent for Peoria Unified School District since April 2024. Previously, KC held the Superintendent position at Lewis-Palmer School District 38 from July 2019 to April 2024. Prior to that, KC was the P-20 Learning Community Director for Aurora Public Schools from September 2017 to June 2019. KC's career in education began at Jeffco Public Schools - Colorado, where multiple roles were held, including Principal and Assistant Principal, from July 2007 to September 2017. KC Somers holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) from the University of Phoenix, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame, and a Master of Education (M.Ed.) from American InterContinental University.
