Jo Mehat PhD is a data scientist currently working at PEP Health since May 2022, having previously held a role as a junior data scientist after completing a Data Science Immersive course at General Assembly from November 2021 to February 2022. Prior to entering the data science field, Jo served as a medical writer at Fishawack Health, specializing in oncology materials, and as a doctoral research student at King's College London, where responsibilities included project planning, data collection, and presentation of research findings at various conferences. Jo holds a Ph.D. in Nutritional Sciences and Diabetes Research from King's College London and has experience as a research assistant at the Child & Family Research Institute, focusing on energy requirements in children. Educational background includes a Master's Degree in Nutrition from King's College London, a Bachelor of Science in Food, Health and Nutrition from The University of British Columbia, and further studies in French at Sciences Po.
