Francel Duminy

Francel Duminy currently serves as the Head of Data Science at Pepkor Payments and Lending, a position held since July 2024. Prior to this role, Francel was the Data Science Lead for Risk at Pepkor Holdings Limited from August 2022 to June 2024. Francel's extensive experience includes over 14 years at Principa, where roles included Principal Analyst, Head of Decision Analytics, Manager of Marketing Analytics, Manager of Predictive Modeling, and Analytical Consultant. Francel has also worked as a Data Analyst at Lewis Group for a brief period in 2011. Academically, Francel holds an HonsBComm in Operations Research and a BSc in Mathematical Science with a focus on Applied Maths and Operations Research, both from Stellenbosch University. Secondary education was completed at Brackenfell High School.
