Francois de Villiers began their work experience in 1999 as an Attorney at De Klerk & Van Gend Inc, where they worked until 2007. In 2007, they joined Pepkor Holdings Limited as a Legal Advisor at Pepkor Properties. Francois later transitioned to the role of Divisional Property Manager Coastal at Pepkor Properties in July 2012 and held this position until July 2020. In August 2020, Francois became the Divisional Property & IT Systems Manager at Pepkor Properties. Currently, they are serving as the Divisional Property, IT Systems and Analytics Manager at Pepkor Properties, leading a team of property managers and overseeing the company's digital transformation and location analytics initiatives.
Francois de Villiers started their education at Upington High School, where they attended from 1988 to 1992. After completing high school, they enrolled at Stellenbosch University, where they pursued a degree in Economics, Accounting Law. Francois studied there from 1993 to 1996 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Comm). Following their undergraduate studies, they continued their education at Stellenbosch University from 1997 to 1998, focusing on Law and earning an LLB (Bachelor of Laws) degree.
