Mari Swanepoel

Mari Swanepoel has a diverse work experience. Mari started their career in 2005 as a Financial Accountant at Olivier Construction and worked there until 2009. From 2009 to 2010, they served as a Treasury and Accounts Administrator at ReMark International. Mari then worked as an Accountant at Sensitech EMEA (Carrier Transicold, UTC) from 2010 to 2011 and subsequently at Carrier Transicold SA, UTC as an Accountant from 2012 to 2013. After that, they joined Ducharme Consulting (Pty) Ltd as a Consultant from 2013 to 2015. Following their role there, they worked as a Senior Consultant at EMS Solutions from 2015 to 2017. From 2017 to 2020, they held the position of Project Manager: Accounting at PEP Africa. Currently, they are employed at Pepkor Holdings Limited as an SAP Finance Business Analyst, starting in September 2020.

Mari Swanepoel obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Tax and Accounting from the University of the Free State from 2001 to 2004. Mari also completed a short course in USB Executive Development at Stellenbosch Business School in 2019. Prior to their university education, Mari attended Kalahari High School in Kuruman, specializing in subjects such as Accounting, Maths, Biology, and Economics from 1996 to 2000.
