Andrew Smith

Andrew Smith currently serves as the Group Chief Operating Officer and Company Secretary at Pepper Financial Services Group since June 2020, having held multiple roles within the company since 2013, including Group Company Secretary, General Counsel, and Head of Tax. Prior experience includes significant roles at Macquarie Group from July 2004 to December 2012, where Andrew held various Division Director positions in Fixed Income, Currencies & Commodities, and Group Treasury, as well as Associate Director at Macquarie Bank Limited. Andrew's career began at PwC as a Manager in Taxation Advisory from 1994 to 1998, followed by a Senior Manager role at Bankers Trust. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales.
