Lisa Smith

Lisa Smith is an experienced educator with a focus on English literature, currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Teaching of English at Pepperdine University since August 2015. In this role, Lisa teaches a variety of courses, including topics such as Gender and Spirituality in Early American Literature, the First Great Awakening, and American Women's Literature. Prior to this position, Lisa was a Visiting Assistant Professor of English at Pepperdine University from August 2006 to April 2015 and held adjunct teaching roles at the University of Delaware. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Early American Literature and both a Master's and Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Delaware.
