Marla Pontrelli

Marla Pontrelli is an experienced career education leader at Pepperdine University, serving as the Director of Career Education and Coaching since September 2013. Marla has successfully developed a new industry specialist service delivery model and advised various stakeholders on recruitment strategies. Prior roles include Interim Executive Director and Associate Director & Industry Specialist at Seaver College Career Center, as well as positions at Lighthouse Learning Solutions, Harding University Partnership School, and UC Santa Barbara, where Marla focused on career counseling, academic support, and research in applied psychology. Marla holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish, with a minor in Education and Applied Psychology from UC Santa Barbara.
