Michael Thomas

Michael Thomas serves as the Vice President for Integrated Marketing Communications at Pepperdine University since May 2022, after a distinguished tenure at Eastern University from August 2010 to May 2022, where roles included Associate Vice President for Marketing, Enrollment, and Communications, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, and Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning. Michael has a significant background in marketing and communications, demonstrated through leadership in content creation and social media strategy at Eastern University. Additionally, Michael is the founder and director of Recovery Spark, which provides creative resources for eating disorder recovery, and has held various roles in mental health services, including co-director of Dine Eating Disorder Services and therapist at Brandywine Hospital. Michael holds a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, an MBA in Management, and other relevant degrees, along with a certificate in Digital Marketing from The Wharton School.
