Thomas H. Knudsen

Thomas Knudsen is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in higher education and law firms. Currently serving as General Counsel at Pepperdine University since March 2023, Thomas previously held the same position at California Lutheran University from January 2022 to March 2023. Earlier roles at Pepperdine University included Deputy General Counsel, Senior Counsel, and Associate General Counsel from April 2007 to January 2022. Thomas began a legal career as an Associate Attorney at firms including Sedgwick LLP, Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP, and Neil, Dymott, Frank, McFall & Trexler APLC. Thomas holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego and a bachelor's degree from Pepperdine University.
