Yoong Kim

Yoong Kim is a seasoned procurement professional with extensive experience in the materials and chemicals sectors, currently serving as Senior Director of Procurement at PepsiCo since September 2017. In this role, Yoong Kim leads the development and execution of sourcing strategies for recycled resin while collaborating with cross-functional partners. Prior to PepsiCo, Yoong Kim held multiple positions at BASF Corporation, including Procurement Manager for Contract Manufacturing and roles focused on open innovation and science relations. Yoong Kim's career began at 3M Company, where expertise in adhesive formulations and application development was honed. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Materials Science from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the National University of Singapore.
