Dessie Dobbins

Dessie Dobbins has extensive work experience in the biotech and medical devices industry. Dessie is currently serving as the Vice President of Program Development at Peptilogics, starting in November 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Senior Director and Portfolio Lead for Orthopaedics at the same company from April 2021 to November 2022.

Before joining Peptilogics, Dessie founded and served as the Principal Consultant at Biomedical Consulting, LLC, starting in July 2018. In this role, they provided consulting services to support biotech companies in various stages of development for medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and biologics. Their expertise includes strategic program planning, clinical/regulatory strategy and execution, program management, product development, and risk management.

Dessie also worked at Cohera Medical, Inc., where they held multiple roles over the years. From January 2017 to July 2018, they served as the Director of Clinical Research & Development. Prior to that, they were the Senior Product Development Manager from January to December 2016, the Product Development Manager from July 2009 to December 2015, and the Product Development Engineer from June 2007 to June 2009.

Dessie Dobbins attended Fox Chapel Area High School from 1999 to 2003 and obtained a high school degree. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh, graduating from 2003 to 2007.
