Thane Murphy

Thane Murphy is a seasoned cybersecurity and intelligence professional with extensive experience in the United States Marine Corps and various defense contracting roles. Currently serving as a Cyber Threat Analyst III at Peraton, Thane supports military partners in identifying and securing critical vulnerabilities to prevent cyber compromises. As Intelligence Chief for the 6th Communications Battalion, Thane leads a multidisciplinary team in global threat analysis while holding a Top Secret/SCI clearance. Previous positions include managing intelligence platforms at U.S. Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command, multi-source analysis roles at the Defense Intelligence Agency and General Atomics, where Thane focused on foreign threat identification and safeguarding sensitive information. Thane is pursuing a Master of Science in Information Technology Management and holds a Bachelor of Science in Data Analytics from Western Governors University, as well as a background in cognitive sciences and neuroscience.
