Howie Altman

Howie Altman has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. Howie co-founded and served as the CEO of Perceiver AI, a company focused on elevating the science of artificial intelligence. At Actualize Partners, they were a co-founder and managing partner, providing tech consulting services. Altman also worked as a mentor at Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator, where they supported portfolio company founders in product engineering, strategy, and AI. Howie served as Chairman of the Board at Children in Placement, an agency dedicated to advocating for vulnerable children in the child welfare system. Altman was the CTO at both Caden, a company focused on protecting personal data, and Scouted, a machine learning-based recruiting platform. Howie also held the role of Board Member at Panacea, a position they held from 2018 to 2021. Altman worked as the SVP of Engineering at Hello Alfred, a technology and hospitality platform for homes, and as the VP of Engineering at Axial, an online capital market for private companies. Prior to that, they were the Vice President and CTO of Reservations at TravelClick, providing innovative solutions for hotels. Altman has demonstrated leadership and expertise in various industries and technologies throughout their career.

Howie Altman completed their high school education at Bronx High School of Science from 1992 to 1996, where they acquired a general high school degree. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1996 to 2000. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
