Jacob Rothman

Co-Founder and CEO at Perch

Jacob Rothman has held various positions in the tech industry since 2013. Jacob began as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Man Vehicle Laboratory (MIT) - Short Radius Human Centrifuge in 2013, and was an Instructor/Camp Developer/Product Designer at the Robotech Center the same year. Jacob then worked as an Undergraduate Researcher: Hand held Nanoliter Pipette at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2015, and was an IPhone PD Intern at Apple in the same year. Rothman also worked as a Mechatronics Intern at Oculus VR in 2014, and as an Engineering Design Intern at New Valence Robotics in the same year. In 2016, they were a Graduate Student Researcher: Deterministic Particle Ejection at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 2018, they became a Mentor at Youth CITIES, and is currently Co-Founder and CEO of Perch since 2017.

Jacob Rothman received their Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2017. Jacob had previously attended the same school from 2012 to 2016, studying Mechanical Engineering.
