Dr. Isabel White

Director of Clinical Service Improvement at Perci Health

Dr. Isabel White has worked in a variety of roles since 2003. In 2003, they worked as a Clinical Research Fellow in Cancer Care at City University London. In 2004, they moved to the University of Surrey to become a CRUK Nursing Research Training Fellow. In 2009, they took on the role of Post-doctoral / Honorary Clinical Nursing Research Fellow at King's College London. From 2010 to 2019, they worked as a Clinical Nursing Research Fellow in Psychosexual Practice at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. In 2019, they became the Quality Lead at Maggie's Centres. In 2020, they took on the role of Psychosexual Therapist at The Edinburgh Practice. Most recently, in 2021, they became the Head of Clinical and Oncology Specialist Psychosexual Therapist at Perci Health.

Dr. Isabel White has an extensive educational background. Dr. Isabel obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing Science from the University of Surrey between 2004 and 2008. Prior to that, they earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosexual Therapy from the University of Central Lancashire in the years 2001 to 2003. Dr. White also holds an MSc in Nursing Science from City, University of London from 1993 to 1995, a BEd (Hons) in Nursing Education from London South Bank University from 1989 to 1991, and a Diploma in Life Sciences in Nursing/Registered Nurse from Queen Margaret University from 1977 to 1980. In addition, they have a COSRT Senior Accreditation from the College of Sexual & Relationship Therapists, which they obtained in January 2015.
