Michael Ball-Marian

Michael Ball-Marian has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Michael is currently serving as a Staff Product Manager at percipient.ai since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at SnapEngage | Enterprise Chat Solution as a Director - Head of Product from June 2020 to December 2021 and as a Senior Product Manager from March 2019 to June 2020. Michael also has experience working at CA Technologies, where they co-founded an internal startup called Instant Agenda and served as the product and business leader from July 2016 to December 2018. Michael was also a Customer Success Principal Consultant at CA Technologies from May 2015 to July 2016, where they worked with large customers and helped scale Agile product/portfolio processes. Before CA Technologies, they worked at Rally Software as an Internal Agile Coach from April 2012 to April 2015, leading cross-functional product and engineering teams and improving product and portfolio management processes. Prior to that, they were a Sr. Agile Project Manager at Foraker Labs from April 2008 to March 2012, where they launched multiple SaaS products and transitioned the company to Agile practices. Michael also has experience working at Castle Rock Associates as a Sr. Associate and Associate, where they led product development and deployment for a traffic and travel information system. Michael began their career at Castle Rock Consultants as an ITS Consultant and ITS Engineer, supporting product management and system administration for a traffic and travel information system. Michael also has experience working abroad as a Volunteer in the Peace Corps, where they taught English and technology classes in a foreign country. Michael has a background in education as a Technology Coordinator at St Thomas University's School of Education, where they incorporated technology into the classroom and performed web development tasks.

Michael Ball-Marian obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Philosophy & Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where they studied from 1993 to 1998. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including being a SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) from Scaled Agile, Inc. in December 2015, a Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance in October 2012, and a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in November 2009.
