Alex McCausland

Alex McCausland has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Alex is currently working as the CTO Web2.0 at PERCS since October 2021. Prior to that, they were the CTO & Co-founder at OneLocal from October 2013 to October 2021. Alex also worked as a Full Stack Application Developer at Bibliocommons for a brief period from April 2013 to October 2013. Before that, they served as an Application Architect and Systems Engineer/Web Developer at TeamBuy Inc. from February 2011 to March 2013 and July 2011 to August 2011 respectively. Their work at TeamBuy Inc. included redesigning systems, managing database platform and architecture, and implementing new features. Alex also worked as a Developer at Indigo from April 2008 to October 2010, where they were responsible for product search system and performed code maintenance and troubleshooting. Alex began their career as a Network Monitor at Excapsa from May 2006 to September 2006, where they monitored servers and gained expertise in *nix systems and scripting.

From 2003 to 2008, Alex McCausland attended the University of Waterloo and obtained a Bachelor of Mathematics degree with a major in Computer Science and Operations Research.
