Efrem Andrews has over 30 years of experience in human resources management. Efrem started their career at UPS in 1984, where they served as Director of Human Resource Manager for a district with over 35 facilities and a total of 4,800 employees. In 2005, they joined Performance Food Group as Director of Human Resources, responsible for managing all aspects of the human resource department. Efrem then moved on to SUPERVALU in 2006, where they served as Director of Human Resources for the Eastern Region, overseeing recruitment, hiring, associate recognition programs, and benefits. In 2007, they joined Perdue Farms as Director of Human Resources, managing HR for the company's Southern Region complexes and implementing turnover reduction methods. Throughout their career, Efrem has demonstrated a strong track record of successfully managing HR functions and driving positive change in employee retention.

Arthur W. Perdue founded Perdue Farms in 1920 but the company gained national attention as a brand name in the 1970s when son and successor, Franklin P. Perdue, became television pitchman for the company. Today, Jim Perdue, grandson of the founder, is the chief executive and the face of Perdue on television. The company sells chicken and turkey products to food retailers and food service companies in the Eastern and Midwestern U.S. and exports poultry products to more than 70 foreign countries around the world. Perdue runs two soybean-processing plants that produce vegetable oils and ingredients for animal feed.
