Leanne Wharton has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Leanne started their career in 2012 as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Atlantic General Hospital. In 2013, they joined Mountaire Farms where they worked as an IT Administrative Assistant, responsible for implementing policy changes and spearheading website development projects. Leanne later transitioned to the role of Programmer Analyst, administering software platforms and leading technology projects in manufacturing, food safety, and supply chain. In 2020, Leanne joined Perdue Farms as a Manufacturing Systems Complex Manager and later became a Manufacturing Systems Project Lead in 2022.

Leanne Wharton obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Systems Management from Wilmington University from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they pursued an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Nuclear Medicine from Delaware Technical and Community College-Stanton-Wilmington from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, Leanne Wharton has acquired several certifications, including various hands-on essentials in data engineering, data sharing, data applications, and data warehouse from Snowflake, as well as certifications in Dataiku ML Practitioner, Advanced Designer, and Core Designer from Dataiku.
