Senior Manager

Mark Tolbert is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quality management and research in the food industry. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Perdue Farms since September 2015, Tolbert previously held multiple roles at Campbell Soup Company from January 2002 to September 2015, including Senior Program Manager for Quality and Senior Research Scientist. Earlier in his career, Tolbert was Operations Manager and Meat Lab Manager at Virginia Tech while also contributing as an Assistant Teacher and Extension Specialist from January 1998 to December 2001. Tolbert began his career as a Research Technologist at Central Soya from August 1996 to January 1998. Educationally, Tolbert holds a Bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech, complemented by post-graduate coursework and research in Animal Science/Food Science, following a high school diploma from Rockbridge County High School.
