Mr. Menon is a Partner in Perella Weinberg Partners’ Advisory business. He advises clients on growth capital raises, SPAC transactions, M&A and accessing capital markets.
Mr. Menon has more than 18 years of investment banking experience assisting companies on a wide range of financial and strategic matters.
Mr. Menon is currently advising several clients on their growth capital alternatives including through a SPAC transaction. He has advised the Board of Pershing Square Tontine Holdings ($4bn SPAC) on its 10% investment in Universal Music Group at a $40bn valuation, Royal Caribbean Cruises on over $12 billion in various forms of financings (bridge loan, secured debt, guaranteed notes, convertible equity, and common equity), FTAC Hera ($850M) and FTAC Parnassus ($220M) on their SPAC IPOs, Immedis on growth equity financing from SEP, Aon on its growth equity investment in Coverwallet and subsequent acquisition, Transfermate on growth equity investments from AIB and ING and Deutsche Boerse’s Index Business on a $700mm growth equity investment from General Atlantic.
Select M&A transactions to include Royal Caribbean on its sale of Azamara Cruises to Sycamore Partners, Royal Caribbean on its $2.1B Silversea Cruises acquisition; Deutsche Börse’s $3.0B Index Business carve-out, and $850M acquisition of Axioma to form Qontigo (a $3.8B company); Aon on its acquisition of Coverwallet; Deutsche Börse’s $1.1B sale of its ISE business to Nasdaq and NYSE Euronext’s $10.2B sale to Intercontinental Exchange.
Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners in July of 2008, Mr. Menon was at Bear Stearns from 2003 to 2008.
Mr. Menon earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, summa cum laude, from Bucknell University in 2003.
