Peter A. Weinberg is a founding partner and Chief Executive Officer of Perella Weinberg Partners.

Mr. Weinberg has over 35 years of investment banking experience and has led many of our most important and complex assignments across industries since the inception of the firm in 2006. He has worked on transactions with industrial clients (Northrop and Pittsburgh Corning); telecom clients (Qwest Communications and Sprint); consumer/retail clients (Altria, Coach, JCrew, and Office Depot); financial clients (Blackrock, Julius Baer, Marsh & McLennan, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, NYSE Euronext, Prudential Financial, Wachovia and Willis); government clients (Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the New York State Insurance Department and U.S. Treasury); and technology clients (BlackBerry, Google, and Oracle).

Prior to co-founding Perella Weinberg Partners, Mr. Weinberg was the CEO of Goldman Sachs International in London where he served on the firm’s Management Committee and led the European Management Committee. At Goldman Sachs, where he began his career in 1988, he also co-headed the Global Investment Banking Division; co-headed the Partnership Committee; ran a number of businesses at the firm, including Investment Banking Services and Communications, Media, and Telecom; and founded the Financial Sponsors Group.

Mr. Weinberg earned a B.A. from Claremont McKenna College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the boards of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Harvard University Global Advisory Council, and Kravis Leadership Institute, and is a founding Trustee of the King's Academy in Jordan. Mr. Weinberg and his wife Deborah founded the Weinberg Family Cerebral Palsy Center at Columbia University. He also previously served on the board of Business Higher Education Forum where he was the Chairman and is a former trustee of Deerfield Academy, Brunswick School, and Harvard Business School Board of Dean’s Advisors.
