Ashley Steel

Ashley Steel has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Ashley started their career as a freelance web designer and developer, creating websites for small businesses and community organizations. Ashley then joined Microsoft as a Student Partner, where they gained valuable experience. Ashley later worked at Enlighten Designs as a Senior Systems Engineer, specializing in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server and other Microsoft infrastructure stacks. Ashley transitioned to Program Framework, where they served as a SharePoint and Project Server Consultant. In this role, they delivered Microsoft Project Server solutions to medium to large organizations. Following this, Ashley joined Content and Code as a SharePoint and Office 365 Platform Consultant, assisting clients in deploying SharePoint Server, SharePoint Online, and Azure AD identity infrastructure. Ashley also held the position of Senior Systems Engineer at Content and Code, overseeing the IT systems and services for the company. Most recently, Ashley worked at Content+Cloud as an Internal Systems Architect, focusing on integration, automation, and efficiency using PowerShell and cloud technologies. Ashley is currently employed at Perenna as a Systems Architect.

Ashley Steel completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from The University of Waikato, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. Ashley later obtained certifications such as Automation Pro I Certificate from Workato in July 2022. Additionally, Ashley has additional certifications in IT and networking from Cisco, as well as certifications in SharePoint from Microsoft New Zealand.
