Karen Chan is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Portfolio Manager at Perennial Partners, managing over $700 million in funds as part of Perennial Private Investments since July 2021. Prior experience includes leading Investec Emerging Companies from August 2018 to June 2021, where support was provided to high-growth companies. Karen also held roles in M&A and Corporate Advisory at Gresham Partners, served as Legal Counsel at Jurlique managing global legal affairs, and worked as Vice President in Technology Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley with a focus on the Asia Pacific region. Early career included an associate position in TMT Investment Banking at J.P. Morgan. Karen holds degrees in law and commerce from the University of Sydney, is a graduate of the Companies Directors Course from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and is currently pursuing studies in Sustainable Finance at the University of Cambridge.
