Alan Black

Alan Black is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as a Solicitor on secondment at SSE Renewables since March 2022 and as a consultant Solicitor for Perenti since February 2022. In addition, Alan founded BlackLegal Ltd in August 2021, holding the position of Solicitor. Since February 2008, Alan has also been the Director of Jozi Power Limited. Previous roles include Legal Director at eleQtra Limited from November 2009 to August 2021, Co-Founder and Director at Liz Black Limited, Consultant Solicitor at Keystone Law, Assistant General Counsel at Rolls-Royce Power Ventures Limited, and Legal Counsel at Enron Europe Ltd. Alan's educational credentials include an Executive MBA from London Business School, a Graduate Diploma in Law and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from The College of Law, and an MA with Honors in Mathematics and Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
