Mark Dawson

Mark Dawson has extensive experience in health, safety, and environmental management across various mining and resource companies. Currently, Mark serves as Senior Manager of Health and Safety at Perenti, following a role as Manager of HSE at Ausdrill. Previous positions include Manager HSE Systems at Barminco and Manager Safety Systems and Investigations at Karara Mining Ltd. Mark also held roles in corporate health, safety, and environment management at Lycopodium and EHS management at First Quantum Minerals. His career began as an Environmental Coordinator at Normandy Mt Leyshon Ltd and includes significant contributions at BHP and Barrick Gold Corporation. Mark holds an MBA in Leadership from Curtin Graduate School of Business, a Graduate Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety Management from Curtin University, and a Bachelor of Environmental Science from Murdoch University.
