Phil Tympanick

Phil Tympanick began their work experience in 1998 at Haht Commerce, Inc., where they held the role of Sr. Solutions Engineer until 2003. Phil then worked at IBM starting in 2005, initially as a Principal Solutions Engineer- Technical Sales until 2009, and later as the Director of Sales Engineering from 2009 to 2022. Recently, in 2022, Phil joined Perfaware as the Director of Sales Engineering.

Phil Tympanick attended Bentley University from 1978 to 1982, where they earned a BSCS degree in Computer Information Systems. In terms of additional certifications, Phil obtained several certifications from IBM, including the IBM Sterling Supply Chain Solutions V1 Sales Engineer Specialty in February 2022, the Virtual Selling - Foundation in August 2020, and the Technical Specialist Profession Certification - Level 2 in April 2020. Phil also obtained certifications such as IBM Watson Supply Chain Demo Practitioner and IBM Watson Supply Chain Solutions - Order Management & Fulfillment Expert Sales Advisor in 2019-2020. Additionally, Phil received the IBM Recognized Teacher/Educator certification in October 2019 and various IBM Mentor Badges in September 2019. Phil is currently pursuing further certifications, such as the IBM Sterling Order Management Technical Sales Intermediate (to be obtained in April 2023) and the IBM Sterling Order Management Sales Foundation (to be obtained in March 2023).
