Steve Doherty

Steve Doherty is a seasoned professional in baseball scouting and education with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as the National Scouting Coordinator at Perfect Game USA since August 2021, Doherty also holds the position of President, General Manager, and Scouting Director at 5 Tool Players. Previous roles include Area Scout for Prep Baseball Report and Associate Scout for the Oakland Athletics. Early in the career, Doherty spent time as a teacher and coach in the Long Beach Unified School District, alongside experience in construction management and personal training. Educational credentials include a BA in Communications from California State University, Long Beach, and a Physical Education credential from National University.
