Dakota Walker has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. They started their career in the US Army as a Reconnaissance Scout Observer, where they performed battlefield information collection and reported during combat missions. They then progressed to roles such as Scout Sniper Team Leader and Scout Sniper Section Leader, where they supervised tactical deployments and provided precision fire in support of offensive and defensive operations.

After their military service, Dakota worked as a Designated Defense Marksman and Protective Security Specialist for Triple Canopy, where they served as a sniper and ensured the safety of the United States Ambassador to Iraq. They then transitioned to the corporate sector, joining BNB Financials as a Full Stack Developer. In this role, they developed features for proprietary enterprise applications and company websites, using diverse technologies such as Laravel, Django Rest Framework, and Vue.

Dakota then joined Hard Rock Digital, where they held multiple roles. As a Software QA Engineer, they developed and maintained manual and automated test suites for web and mobile applications. As a Performance Engineer, they built and maintained load testing suites to simulate user load and diagnose performance thresholds. Finally, as a Mobile Engineer, they developed application features for iOS and Android mobile applications using the React Native framework.

Dakota Walker's education history is as follows:

Dakota attended Galena High School from 2005 to 2009. After high school, Dakota enrolled at Pikes Peak State College in 2013 for a short period, where they obtained a certification as an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic.

In 2016, Dakota started pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Software Engineering at Penn State World Campus. They attended this program until 2019, gaining valuable knowledge in the field.

From 2019 to 2022, Dakota continued their education at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Software Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Dakota also obtained various certifications. In 2011, they acquired the certification of "Sniper." In 2013, they became a certified SUAV Operator and obtained their Emergency Medical Technician-Basic certificate from Pikes Peak Community College. Dakota also received the Equal Opportunity Leader certification in February 2014. In March 2014, Dakota obtained a SECRET Security Clearance from the United States Army. More recently, in June 2021, they obtained certifications in "Introducing Maven" and "Test Automation Foundations" from LinkedIn.
