Francesco Oliveri has extensive work experience in the field of information technology and management. Francesco started their career as a System Engineer at Gisette Soluzioni Informatiche srl in 1997, where they worked until 1999. Following this, Oliveri worked as a self-employed IT consultant from 1999 to 2003.
In 2003, they joined Gianni Pan spa (now Caterline Spa) as the Chief Information Officer (CIO). In this role, they were responsible for the IT department and the technology strategy of the company. Their key achievement during this time was implementing a SaaS warehousing and distribution ERP system to replace an AS/400 system.
Oliveri then joined Perfection Fresh Australia in 2005 as the National ICT Manager. In this role, they oversaw all IT functions, including ERP implementation and management, data center management, vendor relationships, technical support, application development, financial monitoring, and disaster recovery planning. Francesco worked in this position until 2015.
From 2015 to 2016, Oliveri served as the General Manager ICT Services at Perfection Fresh Australia. In this role, they developed and executed business solutions to improve performance and functionality across the organization. Francesco was also responsible for IT strategy, portfolio management, and solution delivery management.
Following this, Oliveri became the General Manager Information Technology and Business Intelligence at Perfection Fresh Australia from 2016 to 2018. Here, they established and led a Business Intelligence division and implemented Cognos TM1 and BI platforms. Francesco also managed the delivery of budget and forecasting models for the group.
In 2018, Oliveri joined AgShift as an Advisor, where they worked until 2019. Francesco then returned to Perfection Fresh Australia in 2018 as the Head of Information Technology. In this position, they provided management direction and leadership in the company's ICT applications development and operations. Francesco was also the technology champion of the Senior Management Team and Consultant of the Company Board of Directors for technology-related and digital transformation projects. Additionally, they served as the Partner Investigator for a Pathway to Market Research Project with the University of Tasmania.
Oliveri's most recent position at Perfection Fresh Australia is Chief Information Officer, which they assumed in 2022. In this role, they continue to provide management direction and leadership in ICT, serving as the technology champion and consultant for the Company Board of Directors.
Throughout their career, Oliveri has demonstrated a strong expertise in IT strategy, project management, and business intelligence. Francesco has successfully implemented various technology solutions and contributed to the digital transformation of organizations.
Francesco Oliveri has a diverse education history starting from their high school education. Francesco obtained a High School Education Certificate with a scientific orientation from Liceo Scientifico Viale dei Tigli Gallarate.
Francesco then pursued a degree in Informatica, specializing in Information Technology, from Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca from 1996 to 2002.
Francesco later focused on acquiring leadership and executive skills. Francesco completed the Immersion Program in Organizational Leadership at Dale Carnegie Training in 2017. In the same year, they also completed the "What Got You Here Won’t Get You There" program in Organizational Leadership at Dale Carnegie Training. Additionally, they attended the Produce Executive Course at Mt Eliza Business School in 2017.
Continuing their education, Francesco enrolled at Deakin University in 2020. Francesco pursued a Graduate Certificate in IT Leadership and successfully completed it in 2021. Francesco then went on to pursue a Master's degree in IT Leadership, which they will complete in 2022.
Throughout their education, Francesco has obtained multiple certifications. These include being an expert in Critical Thinking, Digital Literacy, and Information Technology in Technical Specialization, all from Deakin University. Francesco also holds a Masters-aligned certification in IT Technical Proficiency, Masters-aligned certifications in Teamwork and Communication, and an ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PeopleCert. Additionally, Francesco has achieved the Associate certification from ACS (Australian Computer Society) and is a member of the Produce Marketing Association A-NZ.
