Douglas Newberry is an experienced professional with a diverse background in mechanical design, event management, and community involvement. Currently serving as the Lead Mechanical Designer at Perfection Group since July 1984, Douglas has held various leadership roles within the company, focusing on engineering and automation services. As a Partner at CaffeMarco and a Stakeholder at Geo. Wiedemann Brewing Co. LLC, Douglas actively engages in business ventures. Previously, Douglas served as President and Race Director for the Cincinnati Soap Box Derby, Inc., and held short-term roles as a Precinct Election Official for the Hamilton County Board of Elections and Enumerator for the U.S. Census Bureau. With a solid educational foundation in Mechanical Design from the University of Cincinnati and State College of Florida-Manatee-Sarasota, Douglas also contributed as a Logistics Assistant for Miami University - NYC Media and volunteered as Walnut24 Event Director, showcasing a commitment to community service and event organization.
