Yuri Granovsky

Software Team Lead at Perfecto

Yuri Granovsky has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Yuri began their career in 2002 as an Arrow Weapon System Technician in the Israeli Air Force, where they served for four years. Following their military service, they worked at fring as a Network Operator, monitoring production environment services and automating tasks using scripting languages. Yuri then transitioned into the role of QA Engineer at fring, where they wrote and executed manual server-client test scenarios and worked with MS SQL Server and MySQL DB.

In 2010, Yuri joined ECI Telecom as a Java Software Testing Engineer, where they developed automation tools and infrastructure for testing the company's Switch/Router using Java/Swing and worked with MySQL DB. Yuri later moved on to Red Bend Software as a Java Software Engineer, where they worked from 2012 to 2014.

From 2014 to 2016, Yuri worked at NoviSign Digital Signage as a Software Engineer, developing an online Studio for digital signage content creation and payments/invoicing backend. Yuri used technologies such as Tomcat, Java with Spring MVC, Hibernate, and integrated APIs such as PayPal, BlueSnap, and GreenInvoice.

Currently, Yuri is employed at Perfecto, starting in 2016. Yuri has held several roles within the company, starting as a Full Stack Developer, developing a Reporting and Analytics solution using ReactJS, Redux, Tomcat, Spring, and Spring Boot microservices in Docker containers in AWS. Yuri then progressed to the role of Backend Tech Lead, before assumimg their current position as a Software Architect.

Yuri Granovsky began their education in 1995 at Shevah Mofet, where they studied computer science until 2001. Yuri then pursued further education at Israel Jobs from 2009 to 2018, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and Management. In addition to their formal education, Yuri has obtained several certifications, including Jenkins Bootcamp: Fully Automate Builds Through Deployment from Udemy in December 2016, Essentials of Cryptography and Network Security from lynda.com in September 2015, JavaScript: Functions from lynda.com in June 2015, JavaScript Essential Training from lynda.com in April 2015, JavaScript and AJAX from lynda.com in April 2015, JavaScript and JSON from lynda.com in April 2015, Java Advanced Training from lynda.com in December 2014, and Getting Started with ActionScript from lynda.com in September 2014.
