Miru Lee has worked in various roles since 2010. In 2010, they worked as a Social Service Worker for the Military Manpower Administration. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Research Student at the Thin Film Optics Lab at Inha University. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Research Student at the Institute for Computational Physics at the University of Stuttgart. From 2019 to 2022, they are a PHD Candidate at the Institute for Theoretical Physics at the University of Göttingen, where they have also been a Tutor for two lectures. In addition, they have published two papers in peer-reviewed journals and has two more papers either submitted or ready to be submitted. Currently, they are an AI Researcher at Vernaio.

Miru Lee began their academic career in 2013 when they earned their Bachelor of Science in Physics from Inha University. Miru then went on to earn their Master of Science in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the University of Stuttgart in 2018. Currently, they are pursuing their Doctor rerum naturalium in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the University of Göttingen, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
