Karen Arrington

Karen Arrington is currently a Career Coach at Perfeqta, but they have also worked with the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. As a Family Advocate for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, their primary objective was to facilitate better relationships between school leadership and local families. Karen coordinated the implementation of new engagement programs to drive higher parental involvement and designed monthly newsletters to inform families about upcoming school and community events. Some key highlights from their time as Family Advocate include cultivating strategic community partnerships, managing a school volunteer program, and conducting monthly meetings with key community partners.

Karen Arrington earned a Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Karen specialized in the School Track of counseling.
