Maarten Colijn

Maarten Colijn has extensive experience in financial accounting and controlling, currently serving as a Financial Accounting & Controlling Specialist at Perfetti Van Melle since December 2018, with responsibilities including reporting and analysis of wages, overheads, cash flow, and balance sheets, as well as managing the Tax Control Framework. Prior to this, Maarten worked at Aon in reporting from May to November 2018, focusing on revenue recognition, leasing, legal restructuring, tax audits, periodic reporting, and corporate tax. Maarten was a Financial Controller at Unirobe Meeùs Groep BV for a decade, where the role involved synthesizing financial and non-financial data to support business objectives. Earlier experience includes serving as a Bookkeeper at E-bridge, managing monthly and quarterly financial reports. Educational qualifications include ongoing studies to obtain a Qualified Controller degree, alongside certifications in Power BI and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.
