Roel Nouws started their career at Unilever in 1995, where they worked as a Jr Product Manager before progressing to Sr. Brand Manager. In 2002, they joined Perfetti van Melle as a Group Brand Manager before taking on various roles such as Trade Marketing Manager, Country Manager, Managing Director for PVM UK, and eventually rising to become the Chief Commercial Officer. Throughout their time at Perfetti van Melle, Roel focused on leading teams, building competitive advantages for global brands like Mentos and Chupa Chups, and developing strong commercial capabilities within the organization.
Roel Nouws completed their Master's degree in Technical Business Administration from the University of Twente in the period of 1986 to 1993. In 2014, they attended the IMD for a program in High Performance Leadership.
