Clifton Cardwell

Clifton Cardwell has extensive experience in quality inspection and management within the oil and gas industry, currently serving as a Quality Inspector at Performance Contractors since May 2021. Previous roles include AWS Certified Welding Inspector at ABLE Industrial for a three-week turnaround project at Chevron Phillips, QC Supervisor at Repcon, Inc. overseeing civil, structural, and piping inspections, and Mechanical Piping Inspector at Cajun Industries, LLC with a focus on mechanical piping. Cardwell also held positions at National Oilwell Varco as QA/QC Manager and Supervisor, where responsibilities included maintaining and improving quality systems under ISO 9001 and API Q1 guidelines. Early in the career, Cardwell worked as a structural fitter/QC/Leadman at Turbofab, managing fabrication for Navy projects, and served as a CWI at Longview Inspections conducting mechanical integrity assessments and inspections. Education includes high school graduation from Bay City High School in 1982.
