Tom Sutherland

Tom Sutherland is an accomplished RF Engineer specializing in drones at PDW since June 2025. Prior roles include Electrical Engineer at Qualis Corporation and Optical Engineer at Polaris Sensor Technologies, Inc. Tom also served as Chief Engineer at Geeks and Nerds (GaN Corporation) and held various engineering positions at Radiance Technologies and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Tom's career began as an Engineer at Rocket City Consultants after completing a research and academic role at Vanderbilt University. Tom obtained a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky.
