Jeff Fender has a diverse range of work experience in the finance and accounting field. Jeff started their career at Coopers & Lybrand, where they worked as a Senior Tax Consultant. During this time, they gained experience in acquisition structuring and due diligence review. In 1992, they joined Circuit City as the Director of Financial Reporting, where they directed functions including forecast and budgeting, financial reporting, and financial systems. Jeff played a key role in the $430 million IPO of tracking stock and the formation of CarMax Group. In 2001, Jeff moved to Capital One as a Senior Group Manager of Accounting Operations. Jeff oversaw global general ledger operations and shortened the general ledger close cycle time. In 2002, they joined Performance Food Group as the VP & Treasurer, where they managed the company's finance and treasury functions. Overall, Jeff has a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in various industries and roles.

Jeff Fender holds a Master's degree in Taxation from Virginia Commonwealth University. Jeff also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with a major in Accounting from the University of Virginia.
